Can you get data out of old machines?
Usually. Options range from PLC protocols and OPC UA to retrofitted sensors where a machine offers no digital output at all. Assessing this per machine is the first piece of work, because it determines what is achievable.
Will this disrupt production?
It should not, and we plan for that explicitly. Data acquisition is read-only wherever possible, rollout happens line by line, and anything touching plant control is scheduled into planned maintenance windows with your engineers.
Does predictive maintenance actually work?
It works where there is enough sensor history and enough recorded failures to learn from. Where that history does not exist, condition-based rules deliver most of the value immediately while the data accumulates. We are honest about which situation you are in.
Do you integrate with SAP or our ERP?
Yes. The usual pattern is that the ERP stays the system of record while we build the plant-floor layer that feeds it accurate, timely data instead of manual entries.
