Construction.
Site reality, visible from the office.
Drema builds construction technology that connects the site to the office: progress capture, inspections and snagging, safety reporting, procurement and subcontractor coordination. Everything is designed for a phone in a gloved hand, in sunlight, with no reliable signal.
What this sector
actually deals with.
Progress is reported in a weekly meeting from photographs and recollection. Snags are tracked in a spreadsheet emailed around. Safety observations are recorded on paper that gets filed and never analysed. Cost overrun is discovered after it has happened.
Systems this sector
keeps needing.
The parts of a construction platform that carry the weight. Not everything at once — we build the one that unblocks you first.
Progress tracking
Structured capture against the programme, with photographic evidence.
Inspections and snagging
Defect logging with location, photo and responsible party, tracked to closure.
Safety reporting
Observations, incidents and toolbox talks captured and analysed for patterns.
Procurement and materials
Requisitions, deliveries and site stock.
Subcontractor coordination
Scope, progress claims and approvals per contractor.
Where the work
pays for itself.
The problems construction teams bring us most often. If one of these is costing you money today, it is worth a conversation.
Site-to-office visibility
Real progress and issues visible without waiting for a weekly meeting.
Snagging and handover
Defect lists closed and evidenced before handover disputes start.
Safety compliance
Records that stand up to inspection and reveal recurring hazards.
Cost and variation control
Variations captured when they happen, not reconstructed later.

What shapes a build
in this sector.
These are the things a generalist team discovers late and prices badly. We design around them from the first week.
- No connectivity on most sites
- Harsh device conditions: dust, sunlight, gloves
- Workforce with mixed literacy and language needs
- Statutory safety record-keeping obligations
How we usually
engage here.
The services construction clients most often start with.
Construction
questions.
Straight answers, including where we are not the right team.
Will site staff actually use it?
Only if capture takes seconds and works offline. We design around photograph-plus-tap rather than typing, in the worker's language, and we test on cheap Android devices in bright light — the conditions where most construction apps quietly fail.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, offline-first with background sync. Sites frequently have no usable signal, so this is a base requirement rather than an option.
Can you integrate BIM data?
We integrate BIM-derived data — model references, quantities, locations — into progress and defect tracking. We are not a BIM authoring vendor and would not claim to replace one.
Can it handle multiple sites and contractors?
Yes. Access is scoped by site and by contractor so each party sees only their own scope, while head office gets the consolidated view.

Building for construction?
Bring the problem as it actually is, constraints included.
You will get a straight answer on whether we are the right team.
